Pep Ruiz has a degree in Building Engineering and a masters degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV); and a degree in Interior Design from the Higher School of Arts of Design of Valencia (EASD). His professional career began in 2017 in Porto, the city where he completed his last year of studies, until he founded OJJO Studio with João da Silva. In 2015 he was awarded 1st prize in the CDICV competition for the best final degree project in the Valencian Community, with the "Hosbou" project. Later he collaborated in different professional studies.
João da Silva has an architecture masters degree from Oporto’s university architecture school (FAUP). The final project and disertacion “The ruin of today: memory and transformation - intervention in the Madre de Deus de Monchique convent, in Oporto” (2018), was integrated in the
PHI heritage history + iberio-american culture catalog (2018); distinguished with a honorable mention prize from Archiprix Portugal (2019); and a honorable mention prize from the Heritage College of the Portuguese Order of Architects (2021). Worked at Pedro Alarcão architects (2017-2019); and depA architects (2019-2021).
